Animal Welfare (Licensing of Activities Involving Animals) ( England) Regulations 2018 came in to force on October 1st 2018
This new law imposed a nationwide minimum welfare requirement on virtually all animal welfare activities, while we at Rosehill welcomed this long overdue law it inevitably changed the way we operated, and the costs of, some of the services that we provide.
Cattery - Now Closed - It was impossible to align the Grade II Listed Building status of the traditional 18th Century barn used to house our cattery with the new Act of Parliament, so regrettably we have closed our cattery
Licence - All dog boarding establishments, kennels and the home boarding providers, are now licensed by their local authority. In the case of Rosehill Boarding Kennels that's Aylesbury Vale District Council (AVDC)
Following rigorous inspections AVDC have awarded Rosehill Farm Boarding Kennels the highest possible category of licence - 5 Star.(You can see the Licence here)
